“What’s the deal with Kenwood?”

We get this a lot and we still don’t know exactly what is being asked.  The gist is that we are brewing a better light beer for the people of Philadelphia (and someday the world?). It is a American Light Lager, yes just like Miller Lite and Bud Light and some of the other best selling beers on the planet. But, it’s better, and it is delicious. We knew the world needed a better light beer, so we made it.  

​Who are we?

This is easy. We are a group of guys who enjoy drinking beer and hanging out with our friends. We like local dive bars, we like fine dining, we like Irish pubs, we like gastropubs, we like going to places with a bar.  We have beer industry experience in sales and marketing, and even more important service-industry experience behind the bar. We may not spend everyday in the brewhouse, but we can guarantee we are able to talk about beer as well as anyone out there on the street selling it. 

Where is our brewery?

Kenwood Original is currently being produced and packaged at Mainstay Independent in Philadelphia on Delaware Avenue. They are great people with a great brewer who has helped us tremendously in our journey thus far. Alongside your Kennys in the fridge, you should probably have some Mainstay. 

​Do we have any other styles of beer?

Nope, not yet. We will soon, but for now we focus on growing Kenwood into the best brand that we can. Kenny is our first-born and we want to make sure it can succeed before we switch our focus.
